01Challenge
Architecture is judged on the work itself, but the practice had no place online where that work could be seen properly. Photography of completed buildings was being reduced to thumbnails inside a generic layout, and the firm had no consistent visual identity to hold it all together.
02Approach
We started with the imagery rather than the page structure — sizing the layout around full-bleed project photography and letting the type system recede so the buildings carry the page. From there we built a bespoke identity, an editorial grid that adapts from wide desktop down to a phone in portrait, and a project structure the practice can extend as it completes new developments.
03Solution
A custom-built site with a full-width project showcase, a residential development section organised by project, dedicated services and portfolio areas, and scroll-driven animation used to pace the page instead of decorate it. The layout was designed responsive-first so a project photograph reads on a phone as clearly as it does on a large display.
